the voice of a generation + you = you are the voice of this generation (definitely how math works)

the voice of a generation + you = you are the voice of this generation

PSA: Lena Dunham is judging Quarto’s nonfiction writing contest this semester. We repeat, Lena Dunham. Regardless of your taste/distaste for her, she’s at the very least “a voice of a generation” (yes we quoted that line. Of course we quoted that line), and we know there was at least one week in 2012 when Girls was all you thought/talked about (this engrossing quiz will tell you which character you are).

If you’re up to it, she might actually read words you have put on a page (!!!). Her first proper book, Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s Learned, is a collection of essays and is scheduled to be released October 7. To submit, send any piece of nonfiction 15 pages or fewer to columbiaquarto@gmail.com by March 15.
