Welcome to Thursday! The week is officially half over for which you should be grateful. Today is pretty light on required activities for non-transfer students so maybe it’s time to venture out into the city! Send an account of your adventures, whether they be officially sanctioned or off the beaten track, to tips@bwog.com
Today’s Highlights:
- Fellowships and Study Abroad Info Session. 301 Pupin Hall, 10:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. It’s never too early to start planning out study abroad apparently. The session will be split into a session for CC students and a session for SEAS students.
- Class of 2019 Photo. Low Plaza, 7:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. This event is highly encouraged. It will also probably be annoying and take way too long. You also might never see the picture again.
- “The Happy Hypnotist.” Roone Arledge Auditorium, 9:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. You will be entranced by the great New York Hypnotist who claims he can hypnotize anyone, even skeptical Columbia first years.
One Thing To Do Before Graduating: Spend a night in the stacks, whether its spent soaking up the knowledge of centuries or engaged in more trivial, carnal pursuits.
From The Archives: By now you’ve probably made it to the Heights (or at least meandered past the Heights late at night) and noticed the obese cat that habitually hangs out on the stretch of Broadway. Bwog has interviewed this cat.
