Desperately need a Halloween costume idea (especially because we can’t escape for Fall Break this year)? Bwog’s Costume Closet is back just in time! For this year’s first installment, we bring you a guide on how to achieve the ultimate Henry Moore’s Reclining Figure look. It’s up to you how much clothing you wear under all that copper paint.
You will need:
- Dark copper paint (and paintbrushes)
- Piece of paper and tape
- Physical strength–you need to be able to crab-walk around campus all night.
- Extra points if you can find yourself a large concrete plinth!
Execution:
Step 1: Paint yourself copper. You may need to ask your roommate to get those hard-to-reach spots.
Step 2: Allow yourself to oxidize for a few years.
Step 3: Roll the piece of paper into a cone and tape it. Paint that copper, too. Put it on your head.
Step 4: Crab-walk wherever you go, but DO NOT go in front of Butler. Preferably, stay around Havemeyer. Maybe try to trick-or-treat at PrezBo’s.
Cost: $16.20 for some bulk acrylic paint, a few dollars for a paint brush, and (assuming you lack self-discipline) $80 per session for a personal trainer.
