Happy February, Columbia! In honor of our first real snow this week, Bwog has decided to share our favorite wintertime drink recipe with you. We even went to the trouble of making it (well, a modified version). Our changes are in italics so you can tell how cheap we are. Bon appetite!

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Absolut Elyx (or Nikolai)
  • 1 part Kahlua
  • 0.5 part White Creme de Cacao (is that the same as Creme de Cocoa?)
  • 2 parts Half and Half (whole milk)

Directions:

Pro tip: make sure that old bottle of vodka that’s been sitting in your room since last semester a) has the cap on and b) does not have dead fruit flies floating around. Just a suggestion. Combine ingredients together in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake hard until ice cold. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with freshly ground nutmeg. (Who the fuck has nutmeg in their dorm room? We skipped this part.)

Review:

Stronger than expected. Lowkey looks like milk tea, could get away with drinking it in class. If iced coffee and chocolate milk had a baby, and the stepfather was vodka, you would get this drink. 7/10. Could be 10/10 if actually used the right ingredients. C’est la vie.
