After ruling for 20 years, Algerians were enraged over his decision to seek a fifth term, with the army declaring him “incapable of carrying out his duties” (BBC).
Happening in the US: The KMCO plant in Crosby, Texas caught fire for the third time in three weeks. One person was killed, two were critically injured, and schools canceled outdoor activities. (CNN)
Happening in NYC: Chanel Lewis was found guilty of sexually abusing and murdering Karina Vetrano while she was jogging in Queens. (Fox News)
Happening on Campus: There will be a one-hour long presentation on bicycle commuting in Burden Room 206 of Low Library from 12 PM – 1 PM. There will not be any biking involved, but participants will learn how to improve their daily commute. You can find more information here.
