Help! I Published A Bad Take On The Internet And Now Everyone Hates Me

Disclaimer: This post is satire and also completely made up.

I am very smart, which means I have a lot of opinions that are very smart, and I feel that the world would become a better place from learning from my opinions. Therefore, I did the only rational thing, and wrote an op-ed. You could even say that I performed emotional labor for the benefit of the community. But now everyone is saying that I am “selfish and heartless” and that I’m “co-opting the language meant to address institutional oppression of marginalized workers.”

Anyway, if you’re gonna cyberbully me, you should at least Venmo me for it.

I’m right! via meme
