Let’s get to work!

For years, WikiCU has slumbered. We’ve seen your angry Reddit posts, your other angry Reddit posts, and your angry Columbia Confessions posts. And, yeah, it’s Bwog’s fault that WikiCU gradually fell into disrepair and finally went completely blank back in June, but do you know anything about PHP? Didn’t think so!

And so, Bwog has formed a partnership with ESC to bring about a new era of WikiCU! Starting today, you can now request an account and begin making edits. In order to spur these updates along, Bwog and ESC are planning a 2020 Wikithon to be held from Thursday, September 17 to Saturday, September 19, with prizes and swag for top editors and a badge for all who participate. More details will be announced soon.

To get started on WikiCU, request an account. Once approved, you will be able to make edits; for help, check out the resources on the Community Portal. While Bwog owns WikiCU (and pays for the server space, thank you very much), WikiCU will remain a self-moderated community unless admin intervention becomes necessary. WikiCU is Columbia’s institutional memory; take good care of it, or face the ban hammer.

We’ll see you at the Wikithon!
