Happening in the US: The city of Louisville has reached a $12 million settlement with the family of Breonna Taylor 186 days after her death. Happening in NYC: For the next few days, a white haze caused by the wildfires on the West Coast will cloud the sky in NYC . No need to worry, though, as the smoke will be about 20,000 feet above ground-level and won’t affect air quality. The haze will most likely remain until Friday, when a cold front will push away the smoke. (Gothamist)
