Graphic design truly is CU Republican Club’s passion.
Recently, there has been much talk surrounding the Columbia University Republican Club, which is unusual since most people pretend it has ceased to exist. In reaction to Barnard’s announcement to provide medication abortion on campus starting in Fall 2023, the club promoted an upcoming meeting on their Instagram that would discuss what to do about the “baby killers” of Barnard. What stunned me most about the post wasn’t the crude nature of calling our pro-choice student body “baby killers”; in fact, I found that to be the most on-brand part of the entire promo post. However, I was surprised that the CU Republicans even talk about Barnard in their meetings since, by most of their members’ logic, they don’t even perceive us as students on their campus. Ever since that meeting, I have deployed our team of investigative journalists to dig into the Republican Club’s confidential files, and what we found was astounding. Below is a never-before-seen list of CU Republican Club posters and future meeting ideas on the agenda for the semester.
