The Royal Monarchy is copying Bacchanal.

Bwogline: King Charles and Queen Camilla were crowned yesterday, celebrating with a large ceremony, processions, and now, today, a star-studded coronation concert streaming at 20:00 BST. The concert will take place on the east terrace of Buckingham Palace, featuring performances from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Take That. (BBC).

Study Tip: If you have a big paper looming, you could try breaking it into smaller tasks (by pages, maybe) and writing each task on a Post-it note. Hang all the Post-its on your wall, and when you complete the task, move them to a designed “done” section of the wall. It’s nice to see the “done” section grow throughout the day, and moving the Post-its around feels a little bit like a game. You can also include fun tasks, like going on a walk or grabbing a coffee, to mix up the routine and add to the game-like element of the whole scenario. This process is complicated, but got me through a massive paper yesterday!

Procrastination Tip: Spend twenty minutes making an elaborate Post-it study game instead of actually writing your paper.

Music of the Day: “Solitude” by Bedouine. Her music is beautiful, but mellow enough to listen to while you’re studying, if you’re into music with lyrics. Otherwise, I’ve been massively into brown noise.

Overseen/Overheard: I went on a walk down Riverside Park yesterday. Passing by all of the families at playgrounds and couples walking their dogs was a nice reminder to get off campus when you can. It can be so peaceful! Also, I saw two kids trying to lure a pigeon into a tote bag. (Unsuccessfully, of course.)
