- All singles were chosen by rising seniors, with the last single being chosen by lottery number 103. Eight rising seniors, eight rising juniors, and 12 rising sophomores chose into doubles. The last available room was chosen by lottery number 337.
Bwog recommendation:
With its spacious rooms and essentially unbeatable proximity to campus, Sulz Tower is a prime spot for upperclassmen. Although Sulz is corridor-style, the relatively small number of people living on each floor gives it a suite-style atmosphere. Living on the ninth floor and above, you have access to truly gorgeous views of the city and are insulated from the noise of construction below. While you may have to deal with busy elevators and laundry rooms, the kitchens are usually shared by only six or seven residents (as opposed to around 20 students per kitchen in the Quad). If you miss being able to get out of bed 10 minutes before class as a first-year living in the Quad, this is the place for you.
Resident opinions:
- “It doesn’t feel like you’re living in the Quad.”
- “The gaps in the bathroom stalls are atrocious. Just don’t think about it and it’s fine.”
- “It’s spacious, there’s gorgeous views, and it’s pretty quiet.”
- “It’s a 10/10 environment for a cat.”
- “You don’t hear construction noises this far up.”
