Several popular sunscreen brands don’t meet the skin protection standards they advertise, according to a new report released in Australia.

According to the report, 16 out of 20 tested brand did not meet the skin protection standards advertised on the packaging. Some brands have issued recalls in the country—which has some of the highest skin cancer ratings in the world. (BBC)

Happening in NYC: Following an investigation into the validity of signatures on Mayor Eric Adam’s petition to run as an independent in the upcoming mayoral election, the current mayor has hired attorney Stanley Schlein to review the case. Schlein, a Bronx Democratic powerbroker, was sued in 2016 for alleged signature forgery.
