Covering Politics: Journalism Through the Lens of Local Elections

  • Just weeks away from New York City’s mayoral election, this event focuses on the important role of journalism in covering local politics. The discussion and Q&A will take place from 6 to 7:30 pm, featuring four speakers: Jessy Edwards, Reporter at Hell Gate, Elizabeth Kim (CC ’95, JRN ’08), Reporter at Gothamist & WNYC, Sara Lind (SIPA ’17), Co-Executive Director at Open Plans, and Jeffrey Mays (CC ’96, JRN ’97), Reporter at The New York Times.
