The World Cup schedule is up!

Happening off-Campus: England will begin their World Cup 2026 campaign against Croatia. Thomas Tuchel’s England will open their tournament in Toronto or Dallas. Later, they will face Panama or Ghana in Group L. The World Cup will be taking place in three countries and 16 cities. England, the 2024 runners-up, could meet the winner of Brazil’s group in the quarter-finals. (BBC).  

Happening near Campus: Nearing the holidays, even though there was a push for it, there will not be a 25% increase in the price of daily congestion tolls. Congestion pricing is currently $9 for vehicles traveling below 60th Street. A 25% increase would bring the tolls to $11.25. Although the MTA is pushing for it, Gov. Hochul has declined (Gothamist).
