Happening near Campus: A new law institutes tipping rules for online food ordering in New York City. A federal judge in Manhattan ruled that starting Monday, users on apps such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub must be shown the tip option while placing their order, with the default set at 10% or higher. Critics of the food delivery apps practices claimed that showing the tipping option after checkout cost workers over $550 million. (Gothamist)
