A Conversation With Richard Nephew

- Columbia Political Union is hosting a speaker event featuring Richard Nephew, Senior Research Scholar at SIPA. Nephew served as the lead sanctions negotiator for the Iran Nuclear Deal and as the former U.S. Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption. The discussion will focus on the impact that international sanctions and global corruption have on modern geopolitics.

- This event features the authors of the Harriman magazine, Timothy Frye, Thomas Kent, and Editor-In-Chief Ann Cooper, as they discuss the U.S. dismantling of its foreign aid and “soft power” in Eastern Europe and Russia. Please be sure to register for the event by 4pm on February 16.

- Come learn about the history of zines while also making one! This event is being facilitated by the Barnard Zine Library.

- Belgian Philosopher Vinciane Despret at the University of Liège and the Free University of Brussels will hold a lecture that focuses on history through the perspective of animals. This field has emerged as a consequence of the threat that global warming poses to both animals and humans.

Reducing and Managing Stress | Virtual Well-being Workshop
- Thursday, February 19, 1:30 to 2:30 pm, Virtual
- This workshop will focus on how to manage stress through important tools such as sleep and nutrition. Participants will also be able to learn more about the resources that are available to them on campus.
