New York City’s infamous meteorological event.
We all remember the snowstorm last weekend, right? Maybe you went sledding. Maybe you made yourself some warm hot chocolate. Maybe you just curled up under the covers basked in the dim glow of your Zoom meeting. Whatever the case, we all understand the perils of what comes after a big snow storm: slush.

Trash-ridden slush on 113th and Broadway
Whether you’ve accidentally stepped in a slush puddle in your favorite pair of converse, or had slush splashed at you from an M60 while standing too close to the curb (not speaking from personal experience, of course), the pools and piles of slush have impacted us all as we traverse Morningside Heights to get to class.

Slush found on the SW corner of Manhattan Ave and Cathedral Parkway
Since it seems that the slush isn’t going away any time soon, it looks like we are going to have to learn how to live with it. I wish you all luck trudging through the slush-filled intersections of Morningside Heights.
