Bwog invites you to stop by Fair Fares!

Happening Off-Campus: As of March 22, airlines are still being struck with long TSA wait times due to the ongoing TSA strike. As Spring break hits for most college campuses, individuals who are wishing to fly are waiting up to two hours or more to get through security. Airports are advising travelers to arrive three hours or more earlier. President Donald Trump is threatening to send ICE agents to the airports if DHS doesn’t agree to fund TSA employees. (NPR)

Happening Near Campus: Ayat Hinds Hall, a Palestinian restaurant has been opened on Amsterdam Avenue near 106th street. In reference to Hind Rajab, a child killed in Gaza in 2024, the building was named in her honor. Enjoy Palestinian soul food and honor the memory of those who have fallen in Gaza.

Happening On Campus: On Monday, March 23, from 10 am to 2 pm, the Student Affairs Committee of DSS will hold an enrollment event for Fair Fares. Fair Fares is a transit program that proves a 50% subsidy on MTA fares for applicants that are eligible. To enroll, stop by Butler 214 during the allotted period of time.
