Bwog recommendation:
As someone living in 600 currently, I like it. If you’re willing to live in a double, 600 has a super convenient location, some of the most spacious room options, and a lot of living room and kitchen space. The smallest rooms are 14’6×11’6 square feet, while the largest rooms are 20’4×13 square feet. The building is a 5–10-minute walk from most campus buildings and a bunch of restaurants and supermarkets. While I have seen the occasional roach, centipede, and mouse, and the heat can go into overdrive, it’s a small price to pay for space. However, please take into account that the building is older and has been having some issues with the locks on the rooms, structural damage to the walls and ceilings in suites, and everyone’s favorite, mold.
Resident opinions:
- “The crown moldings are really pretty!”
- “We have a huge water hole in our ceiling that hasn’t been fixed for weeks.”
- “Mold and rats are our seventh and eighth roommates.”
- “The location is so convenient that I can wake up 10 minutes before class and still make it on time.”
