Happening Off-Campus: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is preparing to launch its newest World Economic Outlook, which provides forecasts for the global economy over the next few years. The report analyzes trends in growth, inflation, and financial conditions, as well as geopolitical tensions and rocky economic recovery across countries. It’s used by policymakers and investors to understand current and future trends of the global economy (IMF). 

Happening Near Campus: Mamdani is coming up with new plans to reduce commute times for buses in New York City. According to City Hall, the project aims to speed up bus trips to 20%. Meanwhile the city council is also proposing a budget proposal to reduce the bus and subway rides for New Yorkers, potentially offering free rides. (Gothamist)
