Est-ce que je vis encore ? Two eighteenth-century women and the powers of literature
- Monday, April 6, 6 to 7 pm, Buell Hall, East Gallery.
- This talk features Oxford professor of French Kate Tunstall, who will discuss the capacity of literature to immortalize authors. It will focus on two eighteenth-century French women, Julie de Lespinasse (writer of tragic love letters) and Charlotte Bourette (an unknown but prolific poet).

Earth Month Park Cleanup & Picnic: Fort Tryon
- Saturday, April 11, 10 am to 12 pm, Fort Tryon, Broadway/Arden Entrance.
- Feeling virtuous? Join University Life for this installment of their Park Cleanup series and help tidy up Fort Tryon. If that’s not convincing enough, there will also be a picnic lunch with sandwiches.
