Happening in the World: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, renowned internationally for his roles in Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Jurassic World, has died at the age of 53 after a colon infection. The actor had been battling a rare neuroendocrine tumor since 2018. (BBC)
Happening in the US: Will Reeve, a TV host on Good Morning America, was caught wearing a suit coat without pants during a national broadcast. Later on Twitter, he extensively explained that he was wearing shorts in anticipation of a post-show workout. (Guardian)
Happening in New York: Soon after a revered Hasidic rabbi died of the coronavirus in Brooklyn on Tuesday, an estimated 2,500 ultra-Orthodox Jewish men arrived to mourn. The funeral took place on the same day as a military flyover by pilots from the Navy’s Blue Angels and the Air Force’s Thunderbirds. (NYT)
