One bottle of Field Notes, distilled into its purest form.
Some Bwoggers did really pleasant things:
- Wrote most of a LitHum midterm, submitted a study abroad app, submitted a Hail Mary thing to the NYT for exposure, and stuff
- Networked?
- Skipped so many classes. Felt unstoppable
- Fucked around and frolicked in the nice weather
- Ate lots of desserts (y’all should try Sugar Hill Creamery and L.A. Sweets—they’re right next door to each other)
- For the first time, got: a guitar, tres leches cake, Lexapro
Some Bwoggers did really unpleasant things:
- Somehow irreparably fucked up my sleep schedule while doing nothing
- Spent 20 minutes trying to log in to AXS to get Bacchanal tickets
- Got the tickets!
- Spent Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday spaced out of my mind thanks to spring break destabilizing my routine
- Walked umbrella-less in the rain to Roti Roll just to find they were CLOSED
- Cried at different parts of campus for a week straight
Some Bwoggers did normal fun things:
- Saw the Rare Book and Manuscript Library and it was awesome. Shoutout to Jane Siegel!
- Went to Sleep No More. Had a one-on-one with Hecate. Coolest theater experience of my life, probably
- Saw The Batman (2022) and felt seen. Finally, a Batman for women…
- Went to a party wearing nothing but bags
- Went to Battle of the Bands. Columbia students have no concert etiquette. Still very fun
- My boyfriend took me to a Squid concert
- I had no idea who they were and I cannot say I will listen to them independently
- Was in my first musical! Shoutout 24 Hour for letting me live my middle school dream of being in A Very Potter Musical
Some Bwoggers weren’t sober:
- Got wasted on strange little seltzers
- Got really jittery from eating chocolate-covered espresso beans and woke up the next morning with something worse than a hangover
- Got drunk three days in a row. What’s a developing alcoholism?
Some Bwoggers did unspeakable things:
- In another edition of “Things Seen At JJ’s:” person wearing a shirt saying “a girl without a dick is like an angel without wings”
