This Valentine’s Day, find a safe space where you can connect with some beautiful bushes and avoid your ex.

#10: Futter Field Bush

Located outside the Diana Center on Barnard’s campus, this potted plant has some gaping holes. While this bush has a gorgeous array of colors, it doesn’t provide much protection from the outside world. We would not recommend this bush for a stakeout, but it could provide some much needed cover in a pinch.

#9: Pupin Bush

On the north end of campus, this arrangement of bushes could guard you from the opps. If you have strong knees and lots of stamina, this could be the perfect bush for you.

#8: Low Library Little Bushes

For those who don’t mind getting down and dirty, these bushes could be perfect for you. As long as whoever you’re hiding from doesn’t look towards the ground, you might be able to lie flat and go unnoticed.

#7: Barnard Hall Bush

A classic bush spot, the Barnard Hall bushes are sparse but wide. From here, you can discreetly observe your situationship coming through the Barnard gate and take a sneaky pic to send to the groupchat.

#6: Uris Hall Bushes

If you ever happen to stumble upon an ex after devouring a twelve-inch sub from Chef Mike’s, you might need this bush. Real bush appreciators flock to this area outside Uris with a huge variety of different kinds of shrubs. While some bushes are fuller than others, you might be able to blend in here to avoid an awkward interaction.

#5: John Jay Bushes

JJ’s at 2 am always lead to potential run-ins with opps from the past. However, if you’re looking for a hiding spot from your past quickie, look no further. While this spot doesn’t offer the most secure protection from the opps, you may still be able to enjoy slurping your milkshake in peace.

#4 Avery Library Bushes

After a hard session of studying the fuck out of your textbooks, make sure to dive into the bushes if you run into a recent hookup. These bushes offer you a dry place for you to cool off if the flashbacks are too intense.

#3: Butler Lawn Bushes

This bush is really the center of it all. You might have to hop a fence to get onto the lawn after last spring, but this bush is luscious.

#2: Schermerhorn Plaza Bushes

This wide variety of bushes will ensure that you can stay hidden from the consequences of your actions.

#1: John Jay Gate Bushes

This is our number one bush. She has it all—density, size, and proximity to a wall. Just look at her.
