It’s not the Super Bowl, it’s the Benito Bowl.

Happening Off-Campus: Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny has been chosen to perform at the Super Bowl LX halftime show. His announcement included a statement criticizing President Donald Trump and ICE as well as a dedication to his home, Puerto Rico. This comes on the heels of Bad Bunny’s 31 day concert residency, with US stops skipped due to the potential of ICE waiting outside shows. The 2026 Super Bowl halftime show will be his only appearance in the United States. (AP)

Happening Near Campus: To help over 50,000 daily commuters save a minute on their daily subway rides to work, the MTA will swap the F and M train routes starting on December 8. Between Queens and Manhattan, the two lines will swap East River tunnels, meaning M trains will stop at 21st Street-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, and run under East 63rd Street while F trains will run in the 53rd Street tunnel, switching back to the 63rd Street tunnel during nights and weekends. Switching these lines avoids a delay on the F, M, R, and E lines but will cost the MTA about one million dollars a year. (Gothamist)

Happening On-Campus: The Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies is kicking off their fall film series with a Q&A with director and producer of Running on Sand, Adar Shafran, today at 12 pm. The link to stream the film will continue to be available through the rest of today. Access the film and register for the Q&A Zoom here

Binge Watching: The Pitt on HBO Max. I don’t even like medical dramas and am notoriously squeamish, but somehow, I am OBSESSED. I think I watched all fifteen episodes in the span of about three days. Season two cannot come fast enough.
