Welcome back to Columbia and to Science Fair, Bwog’s weekly roundup of science events happening around campus. Can I say that its actually fall? Will it be 80 degrees again this week? Bwog Science currently has no answers for this pressing question. As always, email maggie@bwog.com if you want your event featured.
Bridging the Gap: Co-producing Climate Research Lunch

- Fayerweather Hall Room 513 and online via Zoom. Registration required.
- As part of their Co-Production of Knowledge Initiative, the center for Science and Society will bring together expert speakers to present a new framework to rethink how scholars can conduct collaborative research. In order to fully understand the biggest impacts of climate issues, researchers must fully engage with communities most impacted. Speakers will reflect on what co-production of climate research can look like through presenting their experience collaborating with communities in Madagascar. More information.
