- Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15, 7:30 pm, Lerner Black Box
- The Columbia Journal of Literary Criticism (CJLC) presents The Whale, a tale of grief, faith, and obsession that begins with a sperm whale’s visit to a “dying Maine port town.” The Whale promises to be “a surrealist epic stage.”
Kings Crown Shakespeare Troupe Presents: Timon, From Athens
- Thursday, April 16, Friday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18, 7 pm, Havemeyer Plaza (and various other locations outside)
- Columbia’s premier Shakespeare theatre group presents one of the bard’s lesser-known works, this time set in 1970s Chicago. The original play centers a wealthy Athenian lord who spends foolishly and generously, only to be met with betrayal and bitterness.
- Saturday, April 18, 1 pm, Lerner 555
- Join the Columbia Chinese Orchestra for a rich homage to traditional Chinese music, celebrating “the depth, elegance, and expressive power of this longstanding musical tradition.” Both classical and folk pieces will be played.
CUPAL Special Project: Pitch Perfect LIVE!
- Saturday, April 18, time TBD, Wang Pavilion (Lerner Hall)
- Columbia University Performing Arts League presents their Spring 2026 Special Project, an arrangement of songs from Pitch Perfect, the iconic a capella film series. Come for the indisputably good vibes of collegiate a cappella a la the Barden Bellas.
- Saturday, April 18, 7:30 pm, Lerner 555
- CU Sur is Columbia’s “South Asian fusion a capella group.” Zabardast is their annual spring concert, a performance rich in culture and music.
- Saturday, April 18, 9 pm, Roone Auditorium (Lerner Hall)
- Columbia’s oldest hip-hop student dance group, Raw Elementz, presents their annual showcase, Rawcus. All are invited to a vibrant and dynamic night of dance.
