Shoutout to sunset walks.

Claim to fame: I was a color commentator with WKCR Sports for the football game when Columbia won (tied) their first Ivy League championship since 1961! I’m also an editor of the Columbia University Journal of Classics and a sister in KPL.
Where are you going? To a firm to work as a paralegal.
What are three things you learned at Columbia and would like to share with the Class of 2030?
- When in doubt, trust the CULPA reviews…
- Take time for yourself, especially during exam seasons. Try to get out of the libraries, your dorm, wherever for fresh air and a change of scenery.
- Appreciate the small moments and the little things! Your time at college flies faster than you’ll ever think.
“Back in my day…” the Columbia main gates were open and it was beautiful
What was your favorite class at Columbia? It’s a tie between any of my Italian classes or history classes but special shoutouts to Colonial Encounters. Also, outside of Italian and history, I have to mention my Shakespeare classes (especially Shakespeare I), Literature and Revolution, What is Fascism?, and Life in the Universe (it’s hard to make me truly enjoy a STEM class but this class was so fun!)
Whom would you like to thank? My mom is always the first person in mind because she always encouraged me to follow my passion for history and to make the most of every opportunity I have! I would also like to thank my amazing professors and friends.
One thing to do before graduating? Take a sunset Riverside Park walk!
Any regrets? Only that I didn’t get to take every single class that I wanted to (especially Making Vikings).
