Welcome to Barnard, new dancing bears!

After extending the deadline for applicants from Mainland China, Barnard Admissions has set January 16 as the new deadline for all applicants due to a “myriad of circumstances around the world.”

Trans@Barnard is a new resource website run by Barnard’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Within the context of a Historically Women’s College, there’s more to this project than meets the eye. 

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Barnard revisits its policies for SAT and ACT score submission.

Barnard accepted 1,088 students into the class of 2022 out of 7,897 applications, a 35.5 percent increase in applicants within the last four years. As the applicant pool rises, Barnard’s admittance rate has also lowered to 13.7 percent, the lowest in College history.
