@Anonymous You know, I fully support Columbia leaving the ceilings to collapse in freshman dorms. Not because I dislike freshman–they’re pretty decent folks in general, and I wish them well–but because I feel that watching the roof cave in is a very good introduction to how much Columbia actually cares about its students.
@G Pickholz BWOG needs a stronger editorial policy regarding reporting ancient history as if it is contemporary fact. Very sloppy on your part.
The headline re Carman ceiling tiles falling was reported as current event, yet can be traced in Spec at least as far back as 1974.
Same event, same headline.
Regularly back then. I vividly recall.
Shame on you digging up 40 year old Carman horror stories and reprinting them as current news. :-)
