Happening on campus: “An Archive of Struggle: Celebrating the Frederick Douglass Bicentennial.” Join Celeste-Marie Bernier, professor of black studies at the University of Edinburgh; Africana Studies Professor Kim F. Overseen/overheard: Cheryl Milstein at convocation: “I’m Cheryl Glicker-Milstein – Cheryl, Millie, what is it, girls?” It’s definitely Millie.

Book recommendation of the day: Good Omens. It’s funny, charming, and written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, two amazing authors. The footnotes are not to be missed.
