Last night, according to Public Safety, a student was assaulted on Broadway near West 132nd Street. Two suspects punched the student before fleeing with his property, and one “displayed a large knife during the attack.” This is the third reported attack in one week, including an assault on a student this past Sunday and an attempted robbery early Wednesday morning. On August 6, 2009, at about 8:05 p.m. a student was the victim of a robbery and assault on Broadway near W. 132 St.  The victim was followed by the suspects, when one suspect grabbed him in a choke hold, while the second suspect punched him.  One suspect displayed a large knife during the attack.  The suspects took the victim’s property and fled on foot, north on Broadway.  The suspects displayed in the photo below are described as follows:

#1- m/Hispanic/ medium complexion/18-22 yrs/5’8″-5’10″/thin build/ dark clothing/ short hair.

#2- m/Hispanic/ medium complexion/ 18-22 yrs/5’8″-5’10″/medium build/long braided hair/light colored clothing/carrying a large knife.
