@umm midterms are a joke i have gotten through 4 yrs at columbia with a near 4.0 in econ and am working for goldman sachs next year making 120K minimum and have never once crammed for midterms..just relax and you will do fine
@Anonymous these videos really aren’t that good. what was up with the whole thing where they could hear each other’s thoughts? that was pointless and didn’t develop at all.
@umm midterms really arent that big of a deal. seriously every year bwog tries to sensationalize a test thats like 30-40 percent of your grade max. just chill out were not first semester freshman anymore for gods sake
@Anonymous I think midterms can be harder/more stressful than finals! For the pain in the ass that it is to get home on Christmas Eve, they do give us 3 days of absolutely nothing, 1 test day, then the weekend. So over the course of 6 days, all that you really have to worry about is studying. With midterms you have other tests, problem sets, extra-curriculars, etc etc etc.
I’m a “first semester senior” (as you’d probably call it…), and I find midterms every bit as stressful as freshman year! Now it’s an Economic Dev. of Japan midterm as opposed to a Music Hum one!
@Anonymous Right right, it was… I was just speaking in generalities, that one would rather take a Music Hum midterm than an Econ one, not that they were upcoming exams…
@that's pretty significant after finals, it’s the largest percentage of your grade. you fail a midterm and don’t ace everything else, you could easily fail the class, or at least suffer a major GPA hit.

@I'd advise the freshmen reading this to discard that.
@Anonymous economic dev. of japan midterm was last week
@Huh All my midterms, including that one, were last week.
@Anonymous Right right, it was… I was just speaking in generalities, that one would rather take a Music Hum midterm than an Econ one, not that they were upcoming exams…
@fyi 25% of us are first semester freshmen.
@Bwepressed at least midterms act as a distraction from the bigger problems… just putting that out there.
