@.... if they knew their audience it wouldnt be so overpriced

    1. ...I says:

@...I agree that they’re quite overpriced, but they always seem well occupied to me, so I guess they do in fact know their audience.

      1. Hmm... says:

@Hmm... I walk by Community about six times a day on average, sometimes more, and have seen them open at all hours. They have some high peak times, but they’re probably the least busy overall restaurant on either side of Broadway between 112 and 113. They just always put diners at the tables by the windows first. Make no mistake: they’re very overpriced ($8 for chicken soup with matzoh balls?), but I suppose they’re still profitable, so it seems to be working for them.

@Anonymous Remember that 50% of Columbia undergraduates don’t get financial aid.

      1. Alum says:

@Alum True, although how many CU students (Jewish or otherwise) are really on campus over Christmas anyway?

Community is one of those places you go when your parents are in town and footing the food bill.

@Anonymous It’s true 50% of Columbia students are not on FinAid. So really, the bill really isn’t bad when mom and dad foot the bill (whether or not they’re there).
