We enjoyed our first foray into the world of mixology so much that we decided to make it a weekly thing! Today, the Columbia Bartending Agency’s Nick Miyares shares a recipe for the Jolly Rancher Shot.
Ever get tired of how disgusting alcohol can taste sometimes? Well, then try downing the delicious, yet very potent, jolly rancher shot, which, as its name suggests, tastes almost exactly like a jolly rancher.
But don’t let the fruity taste fool you—this shot comes loaded with alcohol. While a batch of these shots may help get the party started, I’ve seen it happen too often that they also shut the party down.
Have fun!
Ingredients
½ oz vodka
½ oz triple sec
½ oz peach schnapps
½ oz Melon liqueur
Splash of Cranberry Juice
Directions (requires a shaker set)
Fill a glass with ice. Pour vodka, triple sec, peach schnapps, melon liqueur, and cranberry juice. Shake until cold and then strain into a shot glass.
*If you really don’t want to taste any alcohol, substitute the vodka with Bacardi Razz.

@Anonymous Use Watermelon instead of melon. It’s so delicious!
@Uck... …I hope no bartender actually prepares this drink for someone.
Alcohol tastes great. Just not, you know, vodka.
