Is this postapus affixed on a bulletin board on Schermerhorn 3 a sadistic psych experiment or just the creation of some clever human with too much time on their hands? Rumor has it the eyes follow you as you walk down the hall.
We are left to speculate on the octopus’ internal monologue: Does this octopus have any agency? Should this octopus lose a leg or three, will it enter an existential crisis, having been robbed of that which defines its very identity? And is this octopus smiling or merely staring contemplatively into the distance, resigned to the vagaries of fate?

@Freshman Omg I like totally understand how this octopus feels rite now
@Anonymous a better, if not funnier-in-a-darker-way method is that, instead of an octopus, put up a real full body shot of a random human being on this campus and cut strips of his/her legs, arms, and hands. maybe even fingers. NOT the head though so that way it will be metaphorically impossible to kill the person so that way they will be alive through the “surgical playing”.
and add a caption at the top that says “SHOULD THIS HUMAN BEING KEEP ALL HIS/HER BODY PARTS? REMEMBER, HE/SHE WILL BE ALIVE AND AWAKE THROUGHOUT THE TEARING PROCEDURE UNDER NO ANESTHESIA.”
:) dark. funny. twisted. sadistic. just how i like it <3
@Anonymous weird story bro
@Anonymous a bro would not write such a story.
@Anonymous shat up
@try this experiment instead go to my best bud’s exgirlfriend’s wedding a few months from now, run up to the priest or rabbi or whoever they use, pull down your pants, whip out the dragon, and yell “TOBY KEITH SAYS HI BITCHES! HOW DA YA LIKE ME NOW?!”
and see what happens. record all data variables.
constant variables:
location: TBD. possibly new york city
victim affiliations: columbia college; columbia seas alumni
victim ages: 24-26
