The humble mustard seed

It’s market time again! Go improve your quality of life during the dark days of finals studying with some delicious market goods. The Columbia market is open year-round on Sundays and Thursdays and as always, accepts credit, debit, and EBT.

On Sundays ONLY, the market collects food scraps for compost from 8am to 1pm, and textiles for recycling from 8am to 3pm. Forgot to bring a shopping bag with you to the market? Never fear! Visit the Market Information table and find a reusable bag at the Take a Bag/Leave a Bag collection.

Here are the highlights for today:
  •  The Hawthorne Valley butchers and bakers have been busy recently! Stop by their stand on Thursday to check out their organic beef  selection; and while you’re at it, grab their newest treat, a decadent cinnamon bun!
  • Holiday Gift Ideas: new mustards from Beth’s Farm Kitchen. The garlic rosemary whole grain mustard  will take your sandwiches up a few notches!
