The Core Scholars program offers “dramatic, beautiful, insightful, and sometimes hilarious reflections on the Core,” with the goal being innovative interpretation and understanding of the curriculum. Last Wednesday, the Core Scholars program held its reception to honor its five winners — all of whom you can read up on and then check out their work — for 2014:

  • Soomin Kang – “Forming, Transforming” (visual arts)
  • Tiffany May – “Thread” (poetry)
  • Ethan Plaue – “Genesis Project” (poetry)
  • Jeremy Corren -“Shape-Shift” (music)
  • Matt White – “To the Lighthouse” (music)
