Happening in the U.S.: Virginia Governor Ralph Northam has signed House Bill 1514, banning discrimination on the basis of hair. As a continuation of the Crown Act, which banned discrimination on the basis of hair in the workpalce, House Bill 1514 extends that protection to other public settings including schools. (Newsweek)
Happening in NYC: 1960s blueprints for the World Trade Center found in trash can are now up for sale. Found in a trash can by a Colorado man nearly two years ago, the blueprints are now expected to be sold for $1 million at the New York International Antiquarian Book Fair which ends today. Happening on Campus: Musicians from Japan and New York along with the Columbia Gagaku Instrumental Ensemble will be performing this evening at a concert hosted by the Institute for Japanese Cultural Heritage Initiatives and the Columbia Music Performance Program.
