Bwog gives a warm shoutout to rising seniors for surviving their last housing selection! An early congratulations also goes to the juniors who manage to secure the remaining EC suite tomorrow.
Day 7 of Housing Selection has come to a close, which was the last day for Columbia seniors! For the latest information, check out this Twitter thread with live updates, Columbia’s live counter, and Barnard’s spreadsheet (unfortunately, you need a gBear account to access the sheet.)
What’s next? Next Monday, the times for the 5 lottery will be posted. The times for the 6 lottery will go up that Friday, with the 1-2-3 lottery times going up the following Friday. Be sure to check out our reviews for guidance as you select your housing!
What’s gone: All 4-person suites in Claremont are now gone! Woodbridge is also gone, along with all Watt suites.
What’s left: With the seniors finished with housing selection, options are narrowing down especially for suites.
9 7-person suites left in Claremont
53 studio-style doubles left in Watt
181 corridor-style singles left in Schapiro
10 corridor-style singles left in River
What’s scarce: There are very few suites left in Claremont, EC, and Ruggles. The brownstones are also almost full.
1 5-person suite left in Claremont
1 6-person suite left in Claremont
1 5-person suite left in EC
6 studio doubles left in 548 W113 Brownstone
4 studio doubles left in 627 W115th Brownstone
2 3-person suites left in 627 W115th Brownstone
1 3-person suite left in Ruggles
1 4-person suite left in Ruggles
7 6-person suites left in Ruggles
Looking ahead: One lucky mixed Jr+ group will be securing an EC suite tomorrow! (But seriously, how is there still one left?) There are plenty of studio doubles and corridor-style singles left, which is good news given the few remaining suites will be snatched up quickly.
