You can do it! You’re almost there!
Bwogline: Today the Supreme Court will be hearing a case regarding the release of President Trump’s financial records. Similar cases against Nixon and Clinton were deemed withholding evidence and unanimously denounced by the court, but the verdict of this case is largely up in the air. (New York Times)
Study Tip: Bring snacks into your room so that you don’t have to get up to go eat something like a vulture. Desks were made for sitting! Why should you have to stand to get food? It’s 2020! Not the Pleistocene Epoch!
Music: For great study music as well as a phenomenal album on its own, try Beach House’s eponymous first record. If you need to feel like you’re literally tearing through your homework with malicious intent, try Death Grips’ Bottomless Pit. If you want to listen to my favorite album of all time about outsider fiction, the glandolinian war, and the inherent confusion that comes with having a body, try Jordaan Mason and the Horse Museum’s Divorce Lawyers I Shaved My Head.
Procrastination Tip: Look up the Mandela Effect, Phineas Gage, Cryptids, the Hinterkaifeck Murders, or the Sokal Affair on Wikipedia if you’re bored. Let the wiki-spiral consume you.
Overseen/Overheard: While sitting in my room unable to write a paper due Wednesday, I heard my sister ask in the hallway if anyone had seen her shoe. I turned my head to look out the window when I saw my dog (like 10 pounds and named Moses) running frantically away from the house with a shoe in his mouth.
