Young has accused Rogan of spreading COVID-19 misinformation that could be “life-threatening.” While Spotify elected to keep The Joe Rogan Experience on its platform, the company has also stated it “regrets” Young’s move and hopes the rock star can return to Spotify soon. Happening in NYC: A spokesperson for the mayor’s office confirmed that President Biden will visit Mayor Eric Adams in New York City next week. In what will be the first time Biden will meet with Adams as mayor, the two plan to discuss public safety, especially given the shooting of two NYPD officers last week. This also comes after Adams released a 15-page plan Monday outlining steps to reduce violent crime, in which he encourages the federal government to provide more assistance in curbing gun violence. The event will celebrate the launch of a film that looks at the intersection between Arctic climate study and Indigenous and Western scientific knowledge.
