Happening in the US: A school shooter killed three students and three adults at a private Christian elementary school in Nashville on Monday. Nashville police have announced that the shooter had a manifesto and a detailed map of the school. Local police fatally shot the woman as she tried to shoot at the oncoming cop cars. In response to this, President Biden has come out to once again ask Congress to pass his bill that bans assault rifles. (CBS)
Happening in NYC: NYPD officers shot a man in the midst of a medical episode in the Bronx this Sunday. The unnamed man was holding a kitchen knife and threatening the officers with violence. The police were responding to a 911 call made by the man’s father. At this time, the NYPD is not releasing any information about who the man is or how many times he was shot. (Gothamist)
