Where are you going? Nowhere. I’m starting my PhD in computer science in these same hallowed halls. 

What are 3 things you learned at Columbia and would like to share with the Class of 2027?

Choose life, choose a job, choose a career, choose a family, choose a big television, choose a washing machine, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance, choose fixed interest mortgage repayments, choose a starter home. Choose your friends, choose leisurewear and matching luggage, choose your future… nothing Renton from Trainspotting hadn’t already taught me.
