McBain and Carlton are two places to live on the island of Manhattan.

There are still rooms available in the housing lottery. They are all doubles. These hospitable living arrangements include almost all of the Eastern side of McBain, both in and out of the shaft. You probably already know that you were going to be in a double.

This Bwogger lived in one of those aforementioned Eastern McBain doubles, and despite the lack of light in the shaft, it was a perfectly adequate place to live!

Here’s what’s left:

  • Carlton: 33 corridor-style doubles
  • McBain: 99 corridor-style doubles
  • Schapiro: 11 corridor-style doubles

What’s scarce:

  • Harmony: 2 corridor-style doubles
  • Wien: 1 corridor-style double
  • KDR: 1 corridor-style double (Maybe you can pick it?!?)

What’s gone:

  • All suites
  • All studios
  • All corridor-style singles
