- Chef Mike’s Mobile Ordering
- Do you spend way too much time in the Chef Mike’s Custom sub line? Download the Transact Mobile App, then follow the steps in this video to get a barcode to show when you enter the dining hall. Then fetch your beautiful sandwich. One of my friends likes to get hummus with ranch. Strange. But if that is your motion the Chef will support it.
- JJ’s Express Mobile Ordering
- Using the same app as above, there is now a way to order your Take-4 express swipes during rush hours, and pick it up to avoid the line. Learn more here.
- Chef Mike’s now open on Saturdays
- Yep it’s true… Big for Chef Mike fans everywhere.
- Fac Shack World Tour
- Columbia Dining heard that the people wanted more options from Fac Shack (instead of only Indian food), so this semester they are introducing new global cuisines which rotate weekly. They will also begin offering ramen on Sundays yum. Learn more here (also apparently you can win merch).
- Faculty House 4th Floor now open!
- You can now find more seating and dining options on the 4th floor of Faculty House! They will mostly offer food from the Fac Shack World Tour. I went the other day, and the normal 2nd floor was Taco Tuesday, while the 4th floor had Thai food. Everyone knows Fac House food is pretty good, but this gives expanded seating options which was great! This floor also has a nice balcony to sit on. The room was overall not pretty busy so I have been told you need to gatekeep this one…
