The debut of the new Barnard lottery system.

In the first week of the Barnard housing lottery, senior groups and individuals got to select over the course of four days, starting on Tuesday, after receiving lottery numbers on Monday. Groups were able to change after lottery numbers were assigned, so there was a lot of very interesting movement throughout the week.

  • 110 singles
  • 121 doubles
  • All four person suites with four singles
  • All five person suites with five singles
  • All 121 four-person suites

What’s scarce:

  • Cathedral Gardens: one six-person suite, two five-person suites, three four-person suites, and two doubles
  • 121: three five-person suites

What’s left:

  • 110: 15 doubles, seven studio triples, 15 four-person suites, one five-person suite, and five six-person suites
  • 600: 16 doubles, one five-person suite, and 17 six-person suites
  • 616: 16 doubles, eight five-person suites, and 12 six-person suites
  • 620: six doubles, three five-person suites, and three six-person suites
  • Plimpton: eight singles, 19 doubles, and 34 six-person suites
  • Elliott: 32 singles and 15 doubles
  • Hewitt: 65 singles and one double
