Join the College Group at the Met on Friday February 26th or Friday March
5th for an intimate experience of The Metropolitan Museum of Art
exhibition The Drawings of Bronzino. Following this guided exploration of
drawings by leading Italian Mannerist artist Agnolo Bronzino (1503–1572)
you are invited to participate in a drawing class, featuring live models,
led by teaching artists Jo Wood-Brown (February 26) and Casey Ruble (March 5).
The event begins in the Museum’s Drawings and Prints Corridor at 6:00p.m.
for a lecture by exhibition curator Carmen Bambach and short tours led by
CGM students. At 7:10 p.m. the life-drawing class will begin in the
Carroll Classroom of the Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education.
Space is limited; you must RSVP to metcollegegroup@metmuseum.org to
reserve your place in the class. First come, first serve. This event is
free with Museum admission.
