It’s that time of year again—time to trip on all the flyers clubs are shoving under your door in the hope that you’ll join them. The good news is that things could be a lot worse!
-
Filling freshman hallways with balloons that, when popped, shower confetti with the club’s name.
- Bribing students with candy.
- Promising each student who joins a goldfish.
- Blackmail.
- Sneaking club members into students’ closets to surprise them with an explanation of how great the club is.
- Dissolving the club because recruitment is too difficult anyway.
- Focusing recruitment efforts only on seniors, who will surely want to join all the new clubs in their last semester.
