Fifteen Barnard seniors are the latest members of Phi Beta Kappa, “America’s most prestigious academic honor society.” Induction to the society, granted to undergraduate liberal arts and science students who have exceeded academically, is decided by Barnard faculty members who are themselves Phi Beta Kappa members.
